Key Features

7 Formats: MP3, WAV, OGG, AAC, FLAC, M4A, Opus

Cover every common audio container in one tool. From lossy MP3/AAC for compatibility to lossless FLAC/WAV for archival, plus modern Opus for VoIP and podcasts.

Bitrate, Sample Rate, Channels

One-click presets (Low / Standard / High / Lossless) cover most users. Power users open Advanced to dial in 64-320 kbps, 8-48 kHz, mono or stereo.

Batch Convert with ZIP Download

Drop multiple files at once and convert them all with the same settings. Download each result individually or grab them all as a single ZIP archive.

100% Private — Audio Never Uploaded

All conversion runs locally in your browser via FFmpeg.wasm. Your audio files never touch our servers — true privacy by design.

True Lossless Output

WAV (PCM 16-bit) and FLAC encoders preserve every sample bit-for-bit. Use these for editing workflows or archival when quality cannot be compromised.

Metadata Preserved Automatically

ID3 tags, artist, title, album, and other container metadata are carried through whenever the target format supports them — no extra clicks needed.

FAQ

Convert to MP3, WAV, OGG, AAC, FLAC, M4A, or Opus. Source files in any common audio container are accepted.
Processing happens in your browser, so very large files may be slow. We recommend files under 100MB.
No. All processing happens entirely in your browser. Your data never leaves your device — nothing is uploaded to any server.
Yes. Once the page has loaded, the tool works completely offline. For the best experience, install PrivaDeck as a PWA from your browser.
There are no server-imposed limits. The maximum file size depends on your device's available memory and browser capabilities. Most modern devices handle files up to several hundred MB without issues.
128 kbps is good for voice and casual listening (Low preset). 192 kbps is the sweet spot for most music (Standard, default). 320 kbps is the highest quality lossy MP3/AAC offers (High). For zero quality loss pick FLAC or WAV — the bitrate field is then disabled because lossless formats don't use one.
There's no hard limit, but FFmpeg.wasm processes one file at a time so total time grows linearly. For best results queue under 20 files at a time and keep the page open until conversion completes.
